Sales Manager (m/f/d) Biomass EMEA

The company group has over 130 years of know-how in these segments, 1.250 employees with facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. For the European headquarter in the Netherlands we are now looking for a SALES MANAGER (M/F/D) Biomass (working from home) for the EMEA region.

In this position you are responsible for managing the 4-person biomass sales team and play a key role in the future strategic direction of the biomass segment.


Your tasks

  • Responsible for top line growth, with the focus on prospecting and establishing new sales in the biomass industry to deliver sales targets

  • Manage strategic accounts, including internal coordination ensuring alignment with customer, segment, partners and global strategies

  • Leading the sales team as well as supporting the team in the implementation of orders

  • Provide intensive technical support to customers and ongoing product training

  • Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and develop technical solutions

  • Coordinate proposal development and technology offering with internal sales operations and technical teams

  • Cross-functional and close cooperation with colleagues and strategic business partners worldwide

  • Monitoring and analysis of market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Process or Mechanical Engineering.

  • You are a self-starter, driven and results oriented sales professional with at least ten years relevant experience in selling technical solutions within the biomass market.

  • You bring ideally first leadership experience from managing a team.

  • You are an excellent communicator and business partner who can communicate on at all levels within the customers’ organization, including technical specialists, procurement officers, senior management.

  • You enjoy the travelling part of this position and are prepared to travel up to 50%.

  • You speak fluent English and another Western European language.

  • You reside in Europe.
